He graduated from Ivane Javakhishvili Tbilisi State University - Faculty of Physics, as well as the Customs Academy - with a degree in customs affairs. He began his career in 1989, as an engineer-programmer at the Department of Computer Systems of the Georgian Technical University. In 1998, he continued his work at the Customs Department of the Ministry of Finance of Georgia, as Deputy Head of the Department of Customs Statistics and Analysis, Computer Systems Technical and Software Support. Later, he was appointed Head of the Customs Statistics and Analysis Division of the Customs Department. Subsequently, he was appointed Head of the Customs Statistics and Analysis Division of the Customs Department. From 01.08.2008 to 08.04.2010, he worked as Deputy Head of the Information Technology Department of the Ministry of Finance of Georgia, and from 08.04.2010 to 07.09.2010, he was Deputy Head of the Financial and Analytical Service of the Ministry of Finance of Georgia. From 07.09.2010 to 25.02.2014, Head of the LEPL Information Technology Center of the Revenue Service. From February 25, 2014 to February 6, 2019, he held the position of Deputy Head of the LEPL Revenue Service. From November 7, 2018 to February 6, 2019, he was assigned to perform the duties of the Head of the LEPL Revenue Service. From February 6, 2019 to November 21, 2019, he headed the LEPL Revenue Service. In subsequent years, he held the position of Advisor to the Head of the LEPL Revenue Service. On 11.04.2023, he was appointed to the position of Deputy Head of the Information Technology Center of the LEPL Revenue Service. Since July 23, 2025, he has been performing official duties as the Head of the Information Technology Center of the LEPL Revenue Service.
